Anu Yadav

Anu Yadav is an actress, playwright and teaching artist who has performed at the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Imagination Stage, Smithsonian Folklife Festival, Strathmore Mansion, Studio Safdar in Delhi, and the National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Beijing.  A multiple Artist Fellow of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, her work was featured in the documentaries Walk with Me and Chocolate City, and in publications including The Washington Post, Washingtonian, Washington City Paper, WAMU-FM and the Express. She holds a M.F.A. degree in Performance from University of Maryland, College Park this May.  She is performing her play, Meena’s Dream, at Forum Theatre January 8-18 2014.
